We have compiled frequently asked questions for each section to provide you with easy access to information.

Booking Inquiry

Do you accept walk-ins?

Yes, walk-ins are welcome. We reserve time slots for walk-ins, and artists with cancellations can also accommodate walk-in clients. However, most artists are usually booked in advance. We recommend calling ahead to check availability before visiting.

How can I make a reservation?

We primarily handle all consultations directly with each artist. You can request a consultation through the form provided on this link [insert link]. Alternatively, individual artists may have their preferred methods such as email, direct message (DM), or other means of communication. However, filling out the form in advance with basic information is highly recommended as it provides essential details.

Are you open on holidays?

Generally, no. We tend to observe most holidays as days off, but artists have the freedom to work on holidays if they choose to. Therefore, unless otherwise stated, the studio operates on a reservation basis on holidays.

Is a visit appointment necessary?

A visit appointment is not always necessary. However, for certain specialized tattoo styles (e.g., freehand) or specific genres (e.g., traditional Japanese tattoos), a visit may be required.

I haven't received a response no matter how long I wait!

Some artists receive over 10 inquiries per day when they busy. They may be working on tattoos until late hours or have to consult with over 20 people the next day after meeting people. Occasionally, some inquiries may be overlooked. During peak seasons, one artist may receive up to 100 inquiries per week. If it seems like the chosen artist is busy, you may need to submit another inquiry and wait.

Sometimes, an artist's response may end up in the spam folder. Both may also have missed or rejected DMs. Rest assured that no artist would ignore your inquiry due to lack of interest.

My tattoo request was not accepted.
What should I do now?

If your tattoo request was not accepted, you can submit additional versions. Many factors influence an artist's booking decisions, and most of them are not personal.

Do you also offer piercings?

Currently, we do not offer piercing services.

How do I change my reservation schedule?

If you need to change your scheduled appointment, please request the change at least one week in advance. Each appointment allows for one rescheduling within the designated time frame. Additional rescheduling or last-minute changes will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

What happens if I miss my appointment?

If you are a 'No-Show' for your appointment, the deposit will be forfeited. 'No-Show' appointments may also impact your eligibility for future tattoo sessions at our studio.

How can I cancel my appointment?

If you wish to cancel, please inform the artist as soon as possible. The sooner you provide notification, the higher the chance for the artist to fill the vacant slot. Time is valuable for everyone involved, so let's respect each other and make prompt arrangements.

Safety & Hygiene

Is your studio clean and sterilized?

Cleanliness is of utmost importance to us. All our tattooing supplies are disposable and 100% single-use. We follow universal precautions and ensure that everyone maintains up-to-date bloodborne pathogen prevention training.

Do you use vegan inks?

Yes, we provide our artists with top-quality inks as a standard. The inks provided by the studio are all certified vegan, meaning they are not tested on animals and contain no animal-derived ingredients.

However, each artist may have their personal preferences when it comes to inks, and the studio strongly encourages artists to explore the vast world of colors freely. If you specifically desire vegan inks, please inquire with the artist beforehand.

  • Additionally, send a screenshot of the payment confirmation to the artist.

pricing

Is there a minimum charge?

The studio's minimum fee is $150. However, each artist and apprentice has their own minimum and hourly rates, which you need to inquire about directly with the individual artists.

The minimum fee for apprentices may be lower than the studio's pricing policy.

How are tattoo prices determined?
How much does a tattoo cost?

Unfortunately, we cannot provide price estimates over the phone or via email. Artists can provide a basic cost estimate during consultations, but the actual price varies depending on the time required to complete the tattoo.

We do not claim to be the cheapest place in town, nor do we negotiate prices. Like most things in life, when getting a tattoo, you get what you pay for. Our artists understand what it takes for sustainable artistic practices. They believe in fair and honest pricing that ultimately aligns with your agreement.

Visiting Guidelines & ETC.

Where can I park?

There is ample parking space available at the studio.

Should I have a meal before getting a tattoo?

Yes, please! Make sure to have a nutritious meal and stay hydrated. Getting a tattoo releases endorphins, which can cause nausea on an empty stomach. It's also advisable to raise your blood sugar levels before getting tattooed to prevent dizziness.

What should I expect and what is expected of me when coming in for a tattoo?

Both the client and the artist should come prepared on the day of the tattoo. The studio provides a cool, comfortable, and clean environment for your tattoo experience. Your artist should be punctual, sober, clean, and ready to tattoo. Similarly, you should have a good meal, rest well, come in a relaxed and clean state, be sober, and arrive on time. We operate on a tight schedule, and everyone's time is valuable, so if you are running late, please call the studio to let us know. That way, you won't be considered a no-show.

Will it hurt a lot?

Yes, it will be painful. Certain areas may be more painful than others (ribs and ankles...ouch!). The level of pain can also vary within the same tattoo depending on different sessions. The best way to manage pain is to relax, take deep breaths, and not hold back. The more comfortable you are, the better you can handle the pain.

Drinking plenty of water, getting enough sleep the night before, and replenishing your energy can significantly minimize pain.

Are there places to eat nearby?

Yes, within our mall, there are various Asian restaurants (A-hyang, Dan Moo Ji, Ching Mei, Chui Ha Go), bakery and café(White Windmill), as well as a Korean karaoke bar (Assa Tech Karaoke) and a pool hall (VIP Billiards). They are all located in the same building, so you can enjoy a satisfying meal there before getting your tattoo. Meanwhile, your friends can spend time at the pool hall, café, or karaoke bar.
Additionally, there are many attractions nearby that I would highly recommend. Whenever you have the opportunity, I encourage you to explore and enjoy them.

Can I use numbing cream?

The studio has numbing spray available if needed for specific areas. However, it's worth noting that numbing spray can sometimes cause slight swelling of the skin, which can increase the tattooing time.

Are there any breaks?

  • Everyone has their limits when it comes to pain. If you need a break, feel free to request one. If it's your first tattoo, the artist will be extra considerate.

  • Typically, artists provide breaks every 30 minutes to a few hours, depending on their work and the need for their concentration.

  • During the break, drink plenty of water, stretch, and go restroom. Enduring pain requires a lot of energy, so having some candy or an energy bar can help raise your blood sugar and aid in pain endurance.

Should I not move?

  • Yes, just as standing on solid ground differs from standing on a rocking boat, tattooing on moving skin presents a new challenge for the artist. It takes more time, the price may increase, and the quality of the tattoo may be compromised.

  • If the area being worked on remains still, it's fine. However, the human body is interconnected, and the more intricate the tattoo, the more susceptible it is to even small movements.

  • However, it's not easy to maintain an uncomfortable position for an extended period. If you find yourself in an uncomfortable position, kindly ask the artist for a brief break to readjust.

Can I listen to music?

Yes, absolutely. Listening to music or watching a movie on a tablet is also welcome. Feel free to bring a book or anything that helps you focus and endure the pain.

Can I talk during the session?

Yes, you're welcome to engage in conversation with the artist to help relax. It depends on the artist's preference for conversation. The most important thing is to ensure a flawless artwork. Enjoying a conversation without hindering the artist's concentration and work is recommended.

Can I take photos?

Yes, definitely. Feel free to capture and share various photos and videos of the studio, artist, and the tattooing process, as long as it doesn't interfere with the ongoing work.

Payment

Can I use a credit card?

We have 2 options: cash, card.
A 3% fee applies for card usage.

Should I tip the artist?

Tipping is always appreciated and a great gesture. There are no strict or set rules for tipping, so feel free to do so at your discretion. If you had a positive experience and are satisfied with the work, showing your appreciation through a tip is always welcomed.

Do you accept gift cards/vouchers?

We are currently in the process of implementing this option. Please stay tuned for updates.

Aftercare

How should I take care of my tattoo?

The most important thing you need to do is to keep it clean and moisturized. Make sure to wash your hands frequently, especially before touching your tattoo. If you notice any unusual symptoms, consult your doctor without delay. When going to public places right after getting a tattoo, remember to cover it up. Keep in mind that it will look quite unattractive with peeling skin and scabs before it heals and looks beautiful again. Click here for the complete aftercare instructions.

How long does it take for a tattoo to heal?

Your tattoo will start to appear healed after 7-10 days. It may take up to 3-5 weeks for it to fully heal, and during this time, it should not be exposed to sunlight or soaked in water.
